Wednesday PM Intermediate Wheel Throwing

Wednesdays from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Instructor: Francesca Coker 
Session II: July 9 - August 27 (8-week class)

In this intermediate-to-advanced course led by local artist Francesca Coker, students will be guided through more advanced throwing, surface, and glazing techniques. 

Who Should Take This Class?
This course is ideal for adults (18+) who have a solid foundation and are looking to deepen their wheel throwing knowledge and abilities. The basics will not be covered.

What’s Included:

  • 3 hours of weekly instruction 

  • Access to a variety of materials, including glazes, slips, and underglazes

  • Kiln firings 

  • A small personal studio shelf 

  • The first 25 pounds of clay 

  • 3 weekly open studio sessions (schedule will be posted in advance)

Important Information:

  • The class is non-transferable, and no refunds will be issued after the first week of classes.

  • Pewabic Education Studio is not responsible for rescheduling classes due to facility closures caused by inclement weather, power outages, CDC health shutdowns, schedule misunderstandings, or personal scheduling conflicts.

  • Make-up classes are not guaranteed, and classes will not be prorated for missed sessions.
