The Celtic Vase's base starts out wide and round at the bottom then becomes a straight pillar as it continues upward with a winding line design that has no beginning or end. The Copper iridescent glaze is a shiny, smooth metallic glaze with many variations. Some pieces end up with a blue-gray flashing of color that covers a portion of the surface.
