Session II: July 7 - August 25 (8-week class)

Join Pewabic Tile Pressing Technician, Kevin Weeder, in this hands-on, intermediate-level handbuilding course. Designed for students who already have some experience with clay, this class will help you refine your skills and explore more advanced handbuilding and glazing techniques. 

Who Should Take This Class?
This course is ideal for adults (18+) who have prior handbuilding experience and are familiar with basic clay techniques. The fundamentals will not be covered.

What’s Included:

  • 3 hours of weekly instruction 

  • Access to a variety of materials, including glazes, slips, and underglazes

  • Kiln firings 

  • A small personal studio shelf 

  • The first 25 pounds of clay 

  • 3 weekly open studio sessions (schedule will be posted in advance)

Important Information:

  • The class is non-transferable, and no refunds will be issued after the first week of classes.

  • Pewabic Education Studio is not responsible for rescheduling classes due to facility closures caused by inclement weather, power outages, CDC health shutdowns, schedule misunderstandings, or personal scheduling conflicts.

  • Make-up classes are not guaranteed, and classes will not be prorated for missed sessions.
