The ceramic Pinecone Tile has a high relief design with one large pinecone in the center and long spindly pine needles framing it. This tile is in the satin finished white Alabaster glaze which beautifully offsets the deep reddish brown hue of the oak frame.

Pewabic founder Mary Chase Perry Stratton created this Pinecone Tile as early as 1907 for a fireplace installed in a private home on East Grand Boulevard in Detroit.

Our frames are handcrafted from quarter-sawn white oak by a Michigan craftsman, ready to ship without the wait.
