The Butterfly Tile is a detail from the original Garden Life Tile designed to go in the narthex of Kirk in the Hills in Bloomfield Hills, Mich. Col. Edwin George, who donated his estate for the church to be built, loved the great outdoors. Her work at the Kirk is among the last ecclesiastical installations by Pewabic founder Mary Chase Perry Stratton.
