The Lotus Vase was designed by Mary Chase Perry Stratton in the beginning days of Pewabic Pottery, circa 1903. Lotus leaves surround the top of the vase, re-sculpted by Pewabic artisan Paul Johnson. The vase is finished with a flowing matte green glaze, mimicking its historic counterpart.

The original piece is housed in a private collection. It was loaned to Pewabic for an exhibit celebrating our centennial year.
