Azurite Collection

We are known for our iridescent glazes. The metallic-looking surfaces are achieved through a process called "fuming", in which a vegetable oil mixture is introduced into the kiln at peak temperature. We are thrilled to introduce our newest addition to this over a century-old glazing tradition – Azurite. Inspired by historic vessels in our archival collection, this glaze was brought to life in 2023 to celebrate Pewabic's landmark 120th anniversary. 

Each vessel will have a unique glaze outcome as a result of the atmospheric nature of the iridescent firing process. As each piece is truly one-of-a-kind, you may prefer to choose your Azurite in-store or through a virtual shopping appointment.
