Each porcelain vessel is hand thrown on the potter’s wheel by Tom Kendall. The glazes are of his design as is the porcelain clay. Most of the forms are functional and food-safe. The pieces are fired to over 2400 degrees in his gas kilns. Each piece of pottery is individually thrown so shapes and surface patterns will vary from piece to piece. Surface designs are inspired by intimate landscapes and impressions of deep woodlands.
