Wednesday Afternoon 10-Year Legacy Lab 

Wednesdays from 2pm - 5pm 

Session II: March 19 - May 7 (8-week lab)

In this 8-week standing studio reservation, students will have the opportunity to access the studio for independent work. A studio staff member will be available for basic questions, but not for demos. 

Those who register themselves who do not fulfill the requirements will be turned away and a refund will be issued. 

Requirements before registering: 

  • Reserved for students who have taken classes at Pewabic consistently for at least 10 years 

  • Reserved for students who can create successful ceramics projects without instructor or supervision and have a strong glaze practice without kiln incidents

  • Participants must be extremely familiar with our current studio

Who should take this study lab?

This lab is best suited for adults (18+) who are extremely familiar with our current studio setup, guidelines, and staff. Students who sign up for this lab must have taken multiple classes with us very recently and would consider themselves advanced. You will be expected to independently create successful ceramics projects without instruction or supervision and you must have a strong glaze practice without kiln incidents. 

Lab includes: 

  • 3 hours of weekly instruction (during scheduled class time)

  • Glazes, slips, underglazes, and firings 

  • A small studio shelf

  • The first 25 pounds of clay

  • 3 Weekly Open Studio Opportunities (schedule posted) 

Please note: This purchase is not transferable. No refund will be issued during the first week of classes. Pewabic Education Studio is under no obligation to reschedule classes canceled upon the closure of the facility due to inclement weather, power outages, misunderstanding of the schedule, Covid shutdown, and/or personal schedule conflicts. There is no guarantee that a make-up class will be offered. Classes will not be prorated to accommodate a missed class, nor will refunds be issued.
