Virtual History Talk | The People, Process, and Equipment Behind the Art

Join Pewabic's Education Director & Archivist, Annie Dennis, on Wednesday, February 26 at 7pm EST for a virtual look into the 122-year history of Detroit's iconic Pewabic Pottery.  Explore images from the Pewabic archives during this virtual talk as Annie guides you through over a century of handcrafting pottery and tiles in Detroit. This presentation will include a special focus on the equipment behind Pewabic's process of handcrafting ceramic pottery and tiles as we prepare for the arrival of a new kiln and repairs to our 1912 clay mixer later this year.
