Friday PM Slip Casting
Fridays from 6pm-9pm

Session II: March 21 - May 9 (8-week course)
In this class taught by Pewabic Slip Casting Specialist/Tile Pressing Technician, Josh Kochis, students will use the basic principles of mold-making for tile as a starting point for working with liquid clay. Multiple applications of the casting process will be covered, including the production of simple vessels, handles, and ornamentation. Each student will receive the practical experience necessary to conceptualize ideas, create models, fabricate working molds, and produce multiples of their designs.
Who should take this class?
This class is best suited for students who have a base knowledge of ceramics + one-part mold making and would like to learn the more advanced techniques of slip casting.
Class includes:
